Όχι στον ιμπεριαλιστικό πόλεμο! Έξω το
ΝΑΤΟ από το Αιγαίο !
Η συνεχιζόμενη εδώ και 5 χρόνια ιμπεριαλιστική
επέμβαση των ΗΠΑ, ΝΑΤΟ και ΕΕ, Τουρκίας, Ισραήλ και των μοναρχιών του Κόλπου
στη Συρία, που έχει οδηγήσει στο θάνατο εκατοντάδες χιλιάδες ανθρώπους και στην
προσφυγιά, στην εξαθλίωση εκατομμύρια άλλους, περνά σε μια νέα φάση όξυνσης.
Αυτή της πιο φανερής εμπλοκής του ΝΑΤΟ και της προετοιμασίας πιθανών χερσαίων
επιχειρήσεων.
Γίνεται φανερό πως η στρατιωτική επέμβαση της
Ρωσίας, σε συνεννόηση με τη συριακή κυβέρνηση, άλλαξε τα δεδομένα σε
στρατιωτικό επίπεδο, γι' αυτό και το ΝΑΤΟ διευρύνει την παρουσία του στην
περιοχή, μεταξύ άλλων μεταφέροντας μια ναυτική αρμάδα στο Αιγαίο, με πρόσχημα
τον έλεγχο των μεταναστευτικών ροών.
Αυτοί που δημιούργησαν το δράμα εκατομμυρίων
ανθρώπων που ξεριζώθηκαν από τις εστίες τους, τώρα το επικαλούνται για να
ενισχύσουν τη στρατιωτική παρουσία τους στην περιοχή. Ωστόσο, είναι πασίγνωστο
πως οι αστικές τάξεις, οι πολιτικοί εκπρόσωποί τους, οι ιμπεριαλιστικές
συμμαχίες τους, όπως είναι το ΝΑΤΟ κι η ΕΕ, δεν έχουν καμία ευαισθησία για τους
λαούς και το δράμα που περνάνε. Είναι υποκριτές! Πίσω από τα προσχήματά τους
βρίσκεται η διαπάλη με την καπιταλιστική Ρωσία, για την υπεράσπιση των
συμφερόντων των δικών τους μονοπωλιακών ομίλων, την εξασφάλιση γεωστρατηγικών
θέσεων, τον έλεγχο ενεργειακών πηγών, των δρόμων μεταφοράς τους, των μεριδίων
των αγορών, καθώς και την αναδιάρθρωση και την ενίσχυση της κυριαρχίας του
κεφαλαίου στην περιοχή.
Οι μεγάλες διαδηλώσεις που πραγματοποιούνται αυτές τις μέρες στην Τουρκία εμπεριέχουν και το στοιχείο της ερασιτεχνικής καλλιτεχνικής δημιουργίας που είναι εμπνευσμένη από αυτές. Ακούστε το τραγούδι "Αραμπάς περνά" όπως τραγουδήθηκε στο πάρκο Γκεζί το βράδυ της Τετάρτης (6/6), διασκευασμένο σε στίχους για τις ανάγκες των ημερών...
Μεταξύ άλλων το τραγούδι λέει: «Θα βρούμε τη λύση, ο λαός σηκώθηκε, στα οδοφράγματα προς την Ταξίμ».
The Attica Party Organization of the KKE and the Attica Organization of KNE organized on the evening of the 3rd of June a militant rally in front of the War Museum and march in the centre of Athens in order to condemn of the Turkish bourgeois state’s repression of the popular demonstrations and at the same time to express solidarity with the struggling Turkish people and communists.
Christos Katsotis, member of the CC and MP of the party, speaking at the rally noted amongst other things regarding the demonstrations in Turkey:” These mobilizations have as their starting point the serious class contradictions in Turkish society which exists despite the high levels of capitalist growth which the bourgeoisieenjoys. The workers are facing the harsh reality of working for nothing, salaries of 150 euros without other rights, unemployment, poverty, destitution.”
In reference to the contradictions which are sharpening in the region and the war scenarios which endanger the peoples, he noted: “The KKE has called on the working class and the popular strata of our country and the entire region not to shed their blood for the monopolies, which want to control the deposits of oil and natural gas in the region.”
A poem of the Turkish communist poet, Nazim Hikmet, on the 50th anniversary of his death, was read out at the rally by the actor Vassilis Kolovos.
After the rally, the march left the War Museum and headed to the Turkish Embassy on Rigillis st. and ended in Syntagma Sq. The police had lined up riot squads and impeded the delegation of the KKE from entering the Embassy to protest about the state repression against the Turkish people. The march continued on the central roads of Athens until it reached the Greek Parliament building.
Three central banners of the KKE and KNE were prominent in the demonstration: one in Greek with the slogan “We denounce the invasion of the offices of the Communist Party of Turkey by the forces of repression”, and the other two written in Turkish and English which said “Solidarity with the struggle of the Turkish people. Solidarity with the CP of Turkey.”
Similar demonstrations of the KKE and KNE will be held on the 4/6 in Thessalonica and Komotini.
Statement of the Press Office of the CC of the KKE
The KKE reacted immediately to the events in Turkey. In a comment issued by the Press Office of the CC of the KKE, on Sunday 2/6, regarding the repression of the demonstrators in Turkey, it noted:
“The KKE condemns the repression and authoritarianism of the Erdogan government against the demonstrations in Istanbul and other Turkish cities. It expresses its solidarity with the people and youth of Turkey, as well as with the Communist Party of Turkey which is actively participating in the people’s mobilizations.”
Statement of the GS of the CC of the KKE
Dimitris Koutsoumpas, GS of the CC of the KKE, in a press conference on 3/6, regarding the call of the KKE to the people to strengthen and broaden the ranks of the People’s Alliance, most categorically denounced the mass-scale repression and authoritarianism of the Erdogan government against the people, against the workers, and the youth of Turkey, expressingour solidarity with the neighbouring Turkish people, who are our brothers and sisters, and in particular our support for and comradely greetings to the members, cadres of the Communist Party of Turkey.
Το ΚΚΕ καταδικάζει την καταστολή και τον αυταρχισμό της τουρκικής κυβέρνησης Ερντογάν εναντίον των διαδηλώσεων στην Κωνσταντινούπολη και σε άλλες πόλεις της Τουρκίας.
Εκφράζει την αλληλεγγύη του στο λαό και τη νεολαία της Τουρκίας, όπως επίσης και στο Κομμουνιστικό Κόμμα Τουρκίας που συμμετέχει ενεργά στις λαϊκές κινητοποιήσεις.

Turkey is going through unusual times. The protests started in Istanbul, spread to different parts of Turkey and have turned into a nation-wide rage against the AKP government. Beginning from the first day, the Communist Party of Turkey takes part in the protests. Many of our comrades have been injured due to police brutality or arrested. But the struggle goes on resolutely.

We need your support to escalate our struggle. Therefore, we call out our sister parties and our comrades in all around the world to hold demonstrations in front of the Consulates and Embassies of Turkey and show their solidarity with the resisting people in Turkey.

Media Release of the Communist Party of Turkey (02.06.2013)
During the evening hours in Ankara the police attacked the headquarters of the Communist Party of Turkey, where the Cultural Center "Nazim Hikmet" is also situated.
The police threw tear gas bombs into the building and to the café of the cultural center. They took in custody the people in the café. Due to the tear gas bombs and the brutal violence of the police many comrades and friends got traumatized.
Our people will not pay for the terror that was created by the AKP government. All law enforcement officials must be brought to account and the government should resign.
